Meet the Team

Angel – Office Manager

Our Office Manager, Angel, loves getting to know patients. “It’s great to work at an office that focuses on patient care and comfort with concern for each patient’s needs,” Angel states, ” I enjoy being a part of our caring team.”

With 10 years experience in dentistry, Angel is the financial expert of Greystone Smile Design. She is a wizard with insurance and financing. ” I love telling people that they CAN afford the beautiful healthy smile that they have always wanted.”

Angel lives in Trussville, Alabama. When she is not spending time with her family, she enjoys running marathons.

Dawn – Dental Hygienist

Our Dental Hygienist, Dawn, began her dental career as an orthodontic assistant. She has been in the dental field for 20 years and a dental hygienist for 15 years.

Through her experience and education, she has gained a vast knowledge in patient care. She believes her concern for the patient’s comfort is the most important part of her job. “I listen to my patients and their concerns. Sometimes patients need extra gentle care, sometimes they just need to understand what is happening with their teeth. I am here to help my patients with any dental concern they have, whatever it may be,” explains Dawn. “I want each patient to have the best dental experience ever at Greystone Smile Design.”

Dawn is an Alabama native. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Colton.

Mallory – Dental Assistant

Mallory has been with our dental team since 2015. She has excelled as a dental assistant and will be attending the Alabama Dental Hygiene Program this year. We are excited to have her warm smile at our office.

“I have become one of Dr. Buchanan’s biggest fans,” says Mallory. “I am amazed at his ability to give patients a healthy, confident smile while making them feel at ease and comfortable. It’s great to see our happy patients smile.”

She and her husband live in Chelsea. They have two dogs, Kip and Buddy. She likes sharing stories about her dogs and her travels with her patients. She is an Auburn football fan.

Angela – Dental Assistant

Dental Assistant, Angela, fell in love with dentistry when she received a Crocodile Dentist as a birthday gift as a child. She attended the University of Alabama and University of Alabama in Birmingham in pursuit of her dream. She is currently applying to UAB Dental School.

“Our office has the most technological, ground breaking equipment around. It is great to work for an office that is continually advancing in knowledge and technology to give patients the very best care available,” Angela states proudly.

As a former member of the Million Dollar Band, Angela still enjoys playing the Saxophone. She enjoys spending her time attending Alabama football games with family and friends.
